Sarah Wright

Sarah attended her first yoga class about five years ago and found Yoga Bala in January 2017 after practicing on and off throughout the years. After her first Ashtanga Yoga class there she was hooked.

Later, after two months of committed practice, she was offered the opportunity to attend an Ashtanga Yoga workshop and study the eight limbs of yoga with Tim Miller. From learning and experiencing what yoga can do for the mind, body, and spirit Sarah was inspired to take part in the Ashtanga-Vinyasa Immersion Teacher Training program at Yoga Bala with Karrie AuBuchon. There she received her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in December 2017.

During that training, she studied with Ayurveda expert and Yoga teacher Kate Potter. Kate so deeply inspired her with the knowledge of Ayurveda that she decided to travel to Coimbatore, India to study Ayurveda with real practicing Ayurvedic Doctors at Vaidyagrama. Sarah feels honored and incredibly grateful for all of her teachers that have guided her in this journey. She hopes to share the the gifts of balance, compassion, healing, and light that yoga has brought into her life with others.
